Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have worked in many movies together. Despite their whirlwind romance and breakup the two have always stayed good friends and continued to work together in movies like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha. During the promotions of one such movie, Ranbir Kapoor revealed the naughtiest thing that he did as a kid which eventually led to the teachers calling his parents and scolding him badly.
Narrating the incident the Animal actor said, “Main second class mein tha. Toh meri teacher thi Mrs. John. Toh woh ek aisi teacher thi ki wohi ek teacher school mein skirt pahen ke aati thi. Toh ek baar jab woh class le rahi thi toh main unke table ke niche jaake unke paav ko dekhta tha.” When the interviewer Anjana Kashyap asked, “Kitni duri Se” Ranbir Kapoor showed that he used to be just a few steps away from the teacher.
The Bollywood superstar added, “Toh main aise aake baithta tha aur dekhta tha. Toh yeh kafi deewangi thi toh iss karan Mrs. John ne principal ke paas shikayat lagayi. Mere mata pita school mein aye. Muzhe bahut daant mili lekin tabse main sudhra nahi hoon. Toh main abhi bhi wohi kar raha hoon. Agar aap skirt pahenke aate toh main wahan let jata.”
Although Ranbir can be seen taking interest while narrating this incident from his childhood, fans have slammed him for having this sort of mentality after crossing 40. While Deepika Padukone who is sitting beside him did not say a word during this narration she can be seen half-smiling and not approving of what the Sanju actor was saying.
