Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor have worked in two movies-Bombay Velvet and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as co-stars. Both of them shared a very good bond and rather at one point in time Ranbir even called her his best friend. But it seems he always had a soft corner for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan since he met her when he was 15.
Ranbir and Ash had even revealed how the two had met on the sets of Aa Ab Laut Chalen directed by Rishi Kapoor when the Animal actor had just taken his 10th exam and the two became friends. However, over the years they lost touch and moved ahead in their lives. In one of the interviews, Ranbir Kapoor can be heard saying that if he had not lost touch with Aishwarya then probably Anushka would not have been his best friend.
Were they really bffs or was it a PR gimmick for the movie? Also the Beta idhar ao 😂😂

In the clip, Ranbir is saying that since they lost touch they do not talk that much. Anushka Sharma in turn replies, “You are saying that you were friends with Aishwarya on that set?” When Ranbir Kapoor replied yes, Anushka said, “And she was talking to you?” In turn, the Sanju actor said Ash would talk with him every day and that they used to hang out together. But Anushka simply could not believe this and said that it is all rubbish. But Ranbir swpre to God to which the Jab Harry Met Sejal actress sarcastically said, “Oh so she would say aao Ranbir beta let us hang out together. “
But Ranbir Kapoor did not like this comment from Anushka and said this way you are calling her old. But the actress was unstoppable and asked her co-star how young he was when he hung out with Ash.
When Ranbir Kapoor said that he was 15, Anuskha simply said, “I know she was not giving you any bhav.” But the Animal actor was adamant and said that she gave him lot of bhav. And then he explains, “Issko bolte hai jealousy. Actually agar main aur Aishwarya touch mein rehte toh best friends’ hote aur phir eski koi jagah nahi hoti meri life main. Kyunki hum best friends’ nahi rahe toh maine esko bola chal aja mera BF ban ja. Toh ye meri best friend hai.”
