Nayanthara is one of the leading ladies of South films today with more than 75 films in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu industries. The Lady Superstar, who will soon make her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan, is also one of the busiest actresses currently. However, there was a time, when the diva had almost quit the glamour industry to tie the knot and settle in life.
Yes, you heard that right, Nayan had left the movie industry to settle down with the man of her dreams at that time- Prabhu Deva.
In 2011, Nayanthara was in a relationship with Prabu Deva. During that period, Prabhudeva had got divorced from his wife Ramlath and Nayan was considered the main reason of their divorce.
So, after Prabhudeva's divorce was finalised, Nayan wanted to get married to him and have a family. So, she decided to quit films and even announced the same.
She had revealed that Sri Rama Rajyam would be her last film. However, their relationship couldn’t last long. But she remained away for movies for some time and was living with her parents in Kerala.
Later, in 2013, director Atlee for his debut project Raja Rani convinced Nayanthara to return to films. She then starred in Raja Rani along with Arya and Nazriya Nazim which went to become a blockbuster at the box office.
Nayanthara has never looked back since then. She went on to star in many super hit movies and achieve many successes and awards.
