After Amitabh Bachchan, the one Bollywood actor who has been immensely successful as a television show host is Salman Khan. Be it Dus Ka Dum or Bigg Boss, the Bollywood superstar received a huge appreciation and response as the telly host. The format of Dus Ka Dum was such that apart from the general public many times celebrities were also pitted against each other which doubled the fun for both the live and television audience.
During one of the episodes, Indian boxer Vijender Singh and Mallika Sherawat were the guests. While Mallika was sitting on the couch as the guest, it was Vijender who was asked an interesting question by Salman Khan . He asked, “Apne kitni baar dekha hoga k bahut khoobsurat kanyaye kam shakal wale purushon ke saath shaadi kar li ya unke boyfriend hai, yeh kyun hai. (Looking at Mallika) Yeh aap muzhe samjaye.”
In reply, the Jalebi bai fame dancer said, “Kyunki looks itne important nahi hai. Yeh mann jo hai that is more important. A man’s intelligence is more important. Looks come and go.” And then she asked the girls in the audience, “Girls what do you think?” The majority of the girls in the audience shouted, “Yeah.”
Salman Khan looked stunned and said, “Ayla itne saare jooth ek saath. In logon ki thinking hi kamal hai. Ke uske paas looks bhi nahi hai, paisa bhi nahi hai. Yeh sab kuch bhi nahi hai phir bhi wah. Ya to aap devi hai ya toh aap jhooti hain.” In reply, Mallika Sherawat said, “You should have character.” Salman Khan simply could not take it as the real answer while Mallika just repeated what she said earlier.

Work-wise while Mallika Sherawat is nowhere near the Bollywood horizon, Salman Khan continues to be one of the biggest Bollywood stars in India with a very good lineup of movies in his kitty.
