Reports began surfacing over the weekend claiming that Aneet Padda will next be seen in a web series titled ‘Nyaya’, directed by Nitya Mehra and her husband Karan Kapadia. The news set the internet abuzz, with fans eager to see Aneet transition from the big screen to streaming platforms.
However, a trade source has revealed a surprising twist: Nyaya was actually shot before Aneet even signed on for Saiyaara. This changes everything about her supposed "switch" to OTT.
A Theatrical Future: YRF's Strategy for Aneet
According to insiders, Yash Raj Films (YRF) which launched Aneet with Saiyaara has grand theatrical plans for the young star. At just 22, delivering a likely Rs 400 crore hit, Aneet is being positioned as the Gen Z face of Bollywood.
“Aneet is a big-screen heroine,” the source emphasized. “Nyaya was an earlier project and won’t influence her trajectory, which will be built firmly around theatrical releases.”
