For the unversed, Pushkara is based on eminent writer Sankar Tripathy’s Odia novel Nadabindu.

The movie has been streaming on Trang Plus from November 12, after the movie completed its 50-day run at movie theatres.
Notably, the movie is still running in many theatres in the state and even outside in cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad and Coimbatore.
The movie marks the directorial debut of DOP-turned-director Subhranshu Das, and writer Shankar Tripathy himself has penned the dialogues.
Apart from Sabyasachi and Supriya, the movie has an ensemble cast, which includes veteran actors like Asrumochan Mohanty and Choudhury Bikash Das and late actors like Pintu Nanda and Rabi Das among others.
