Yograj Singh, father of cricketer Yuvraj Singh, is known for his vocal and outspoken nature, strongly defending his son on and off the cricket field. However, the latest to face his ire are Indian megastars Aamir Khan and Prabhas.

In an appearance on a podcast conversation with YouTuber Samdish Bhatia, Singh spoke out his strong disapproval of Aamir Khan's hit Taare Zameen Par, also starring Darsheel Safari. He labeled the film as "waahiyat (worthless)" and mentioned that he does not watch such movies.

Incidentally, the film released in 2007, tells the story of an 8-year-old boy struggling with dyslexia, with Khan playing the role of his supportive art teacher. Additionally, the flick was praised for its impactful message.

Despite this, Yograj Singh dismissed it, saying "Main aisi picture nahi dekhta" (I don’t watch such films) and criticized the film's portrayal, stating "Badi hi wahiyat film hai" (It is a really bad film).

In his stance, Yograj stated that a child is moulded by his/her father's influence and reflected on his own parenting. Moreover, he mentioned pushing Yuvraj Singh to abandon his passion for roller skating in favour of cricket, emphasizing the importance of pushing children to their limits to achieve success.
