Undeniably, India's star cricketer Virat Kohli's sprawls globally. Several Hollywood actors are also high admirers of Kohli. However, the presence of the Indian cricketer made Hollywood actor Charlie Vickers nervous.
Recently, Vickers revealed that Kohli is his favourite Indian cricketer. During his exclusive chat on News 18 Showsha, he said that he is a huge fan of Kohli outside the Australian cricket team. Further, he shared an interesting anecdote when he crossed paths with Kohli and felt nervous.
Recalling his stay in Auckland, Vickers said that he walked by Kohli in a hotel where both of them stayed. He called the brush a surreal experience.
When asked if he exchanged any conversation with Kohli, the Australian actor said, "No, I was too nervous.”
Further, he went on to add that Australian fast bowler Bret Lee is his window to Bollywood. He mentioned that Lee's collaboration with Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle in the iconic song 'You Are the One for Me' brought him closer to the Indian Film Industry and he learned more about it.
During the chat, he also recalled how the cast and crew of 'The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power' were highly impressed during their visit to India for promotions. He said that though he couldn't join the team during their India visit, almost half of the cast fondly talked about their time spent in India. Their trip to India became quite famous.
Well, 'King' Virat Kohli, as his fans refer him, is undeniably one of the most brilliant cricketers the Indian team has. Apart from impressing his fans in India, he also has admirers, who are international celebrities.
