Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are making Bollywood debuts with Liger and Mission Majnu respectively very soon. Both the actors are leading stars from South India.
While Vijay is known for his Tollywood movies, Rashoo has done movies in almost all Southern languages including Tamil and Telugu after making her debut in the Kannada film industry with Kirik Party.
The actress made sure that she dubs her dialogues for all her movies irrespective of the language and she is following the same principle for her Hindi films too.
In May this year, the actress hired a tutor to polish her Hindi so that she could do justice to her role in her debut Bollywood movie Mission Majnu and Goodbye-her second Hindi movie with Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta.

Vijay Deverakonda, who is all set to debut in multilingual flick Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh, also hired a Hindi tutor to brush up his language. The Tollywood superstar said that although he is well acquainted with Hindi, he wanted to make sure that he is able to speak polished Hindi which is why he hired a tutor.
Recently, the Dear Comrade actor dubbed Hindi dialogues for Liger. The movie is also being produced simultaneously in Telugu.
This approach of today’s young Southern stars is quite different from the earlier stars relying on dubbing artists whenever they acted in Bollywood movies. For example, many times Sridevi’s dubbing in Hindi was carried out by leading B-Town actresses like Rekha as she was not fluent in Hindi initially. After Sri became the reigning queen of Bollywood, she started dubbing for her Hindi movies.
Two years ago, Rajesh Khatter who is a Bollywood and television actor and also the father of Ishaan Khatter confirmed that he dubbed Chiranjeevi for the Hindi version of his hit movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Over the years, Mayur Vyas has dubbed Rajinikanth for several movies including Robot, 2.0, Darbar, Lingaa, Sivaji, Chandramukhi and more.
