South Indian superstar Prabhas’ upcoming flick tentatively titled Project K is currently one of the most discussed movies around. Bollywood biggies Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan have already been roped in for this Nag Ashwin-helmed movie and they recently even joined a shooting schedule of Project K. Now, the latest news says that a few big actors from the South are also expected to be a part of this ambitious multilingual project that will have a pan world release.
According to a buzz, Southern superstars Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni will also have a small part in this big-budget movie. While it is not known what role they will play, the rumor says that other famous actors like Prithviraj and Dulquer Salman are also expected to join Project K.
Vijay Deverakonda is all set to debut in Bollywood with Ananya Panday in Dharma Productions’ film Liger while Samantha made a mark in the Hindi film world by portraying the intense Raji in The Family Man Season 2. For Rebel star Prabhas, Project K is a very big movie as he wants to take the legacy of Baahubali further with this flick.

The film has a huge budget of Rs 400 crore and will be a science fantasy drama revolving around a war set in the futuristic world. It is expected to have some impressive action scenes and highly advanced visual effects. The first shot of the movie was taken on the occasion of Guru Purnima last month with Prabhas giving the mahurat shot clap for Big B.
Post the huge success of Mahanati, expectations are quite high from director Nag Ashwin and since the script demands the presence of two important characters connected to the role of Amitabh Bachchan, Nag Ashwin wants to rope in the famous and A-listed actors from the South for this particular part.
