Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is one of the most talked about projects. Fans are excited to see Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Lord Hanuman and Yash as Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lord Hanuman and Demon King Ravana, respectively. A couple of days ago, reports were abuzz that Ranbir will play a double role in the movie. Reportedly, he will be seen as Lord Ram and Lord Parashurama, as it is believed that both are reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. Meanwhile, a latest report suggests, Vicky Kaushal will be seen as Lord Parashurama. But, the Chhava actor will not essay the role in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.
As per reports, Vicky Kaushal will be essaying the role of Lord Parashuram in producer Dinesh Vijan's next.
A report by Bollywood Hungama quoted a close source to the development saying, "After Love & War, Vicky was looking to sign on for a mega-budget feature film and producer Dinesh Vijan came up with a script he couldn't say no to."

Further, the source also said that after Love And War, Vicky's next will be an epic feature movie in which he will be seen as Lord Parashurama. Vicky was overjoyed with the idea of the film and signed it without any second thought, said the source.
If the report is anything to go by, the pre-production work for the movie will begin in January (2025) and have plans to take the movie on floors in November (2025).
Reportedly, it is one of the most ambitious projects of Maddock. The official announcement about the movie will be made soon.
If the reports are anything to go by, the makers are committed to delivering a cinematic spectacle with Parashurama which will be a lot bigger than Vicky's upcoming Chhava, also starring Rashmika Mandanna.
