Tom Holland 'Would Be Thrilled' to Play James Bond!
During his recent appearance on celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s YouTube channel, Tom Holland was asked directly about the Bond rumours. He replied with a smile, "Listen, there's speculation at the moment. We'll keep it to a minimum for now. We'll get there one day.”
The actor admitted he would be thrilled to play the legendary British spy someday.
“Every young British actor, it's the pinnacle of working in our industry. I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive; I could not have dreamed of having the career that I have,” he added.
Holland joins a list of rumoured contenders that reportedly includes Jacob Elordi and Harris Dickinson.
The Bond franchise is currently being rebooted following Amazon MGM Studios’ acquisition of the property earlier this year. The upcoming film is set to be directed by Denis Villeneuve (Dune) and penned by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders). However, with Villeneuve occupied with Dune: Messiah, production on Bond is not expected to start anytime soon. Amy Pascal and David Heyman will produce the project.

The first look for the Marvel-Sony co-production dropped on Saturday, with filming underway in Glasgow. The film is set for release on July 31, 2026.
