The daughter of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi is soon going to get married. The invitations have been sent to almost everyone from the TMKOC team including the actors, producer Asitkumarr Modi, and the team members. Despite being away from the hit serial for almost four years now, Disha Vakani has also received the invitation from Dilip Joshi with whom she worked for more than a decade.
Fans were excited to see Disha Vakani and Dilip Joshi together in one frame after a long time. Unfortunately, Disha will not be attending the wedding. While she has not given any reasons for not being a part of the ceremony, the famous telly actress will instead visit the family of Dilip Joshi personally and bless his daughter Niyati before the wedding.
Reportedly, the wedding will take place at Taj Hotel in Mumbai on December 11 and Dilip Joshi is very much busy ensuring things personally that all things are arranged according to the plan. Apart from Disha Vakani, Bhavya Gandhi who is also no more a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been invited to the wedding. Bhavya played the popular character of Tappu in the show for long years after leaving it to pursue other options in his career.
He has been replaced by Raj Anadkat since then who is also doing a good job as Tappu. It is a fact that many actors including Bhavya, Disha Vakani, Gurucharan Singh, and more have left the show for various reasons but even then the popularity of TMKOC has not come down. Since the other characters like Bhide, Madhavi Bhabhi, Babitaji, Popatlal, Mehtasaab are equally popular together with Bapuji, Jethalal, and Tappu they have managed to ensure that the show continues to remain in the top 10 ranking of TRP.
