Actor Tiger Shroff is back to the headlines for his upcoming Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, also starring Akshay Kumar, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Ronit Bose Roy. As 'Chote Miyan' turns 34 today, birthday wishes for the actor poured in from many including 'Bade Miyan', and Disha Patani.
The Starkid made his debut in 2014 with Heropanti. With his impressive performance, he bagged the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year. In his career spanning around a decade, he has worked in around 12 movies and several more are in the pipeline. However, commercially successful films like Baaghi (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018), and War (2019), established him as an action star.
While excitement among fans of Tiger is skyrocketing for his upcoming action-thriller, written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, here we bring an incident from the past when the Heropanti actor expressed his desire to take revenge on his War co-star Hrithik Roshan.
Moviegoers loved the onscreen team of Hrithik and Tiger in War. Indeed, it was fun to watch the macho stars in action, grooving flawlessly together and locking horns as well. The audience was enthralled to watch Hrithik-Tiger's gripping faceoff. In the movie, Tiger ends up getting a good thrashing. However, this left Tiger 'disturbed.'
Earlier, during an interview, Tiger mentioned that if he ever returns as a villain in YRF's Spy Universe, he would want to take revenge on Hrithik's character for the thrashing he received in War. However, he quickly clarified that his admiration for Hrithik runs so deep that he'd probably think twice before seeking a payback.
Certainly, Tiger's statement was in jest and it highlighted the respect he holds for his fellow actors.
Meanwhile, War 2 has been the talk of the town since its announcement. Though Tiger is not a part of the sequel, fans are quite excited to see Duggu locking horns with Jr NTR.
On the other hand, Tiger is gearing up for his action-packed flick with Akshay Kumar. The song 'Mast Malang Jhoom' was released on Wednesday. From the look of it, the song looks like an attempt to recreate the Oscar-winning song 'Naatu Naatu' from SS Rajamouli’s acclaimed film, RRR. Apart from the foot tapping, the setting also looks familiar as suited-up men dance along with Akshay and Tiger.
Tiger was last seen in Ganapath, a dystopian sci-fi action movie, also starring Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. He also is busy filming Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn.
