Bollywood actress Palak Tiwari recently revealed an obsessive quest to track down a stranger she found attractive, scrolling through 2,000 Instagram profiles to identify him.
The daughter of TV star Shweta Tiwari, Palak, admitted to the extreme measure during an interview with Zoom while promoting her upcoming horror-comedy ‘The Bhootnii’. “I saw this guy once and thought, ‘Oh sh*t, he’s so cute.’ I didn’t know his name or anything, but I had to find him,” she said.
The 2,000-Profile Deep Dive
Palak’s mission began when she spotted the unnamed man in an Instagram story posted by an unknown account.
Despite the lack of a tag, she combed through all 2,000 profiles followed by the account to locate him.
“You best believe I scrolled through all 2,000 names to find his username. I sent it to my friend. This was just for me—I wouldn’t have done it for anyone else,” she confessed. Though the relationship eventually fizzled, Palak called the effort “the most sane thing” she’s done for love.

Privacy Over Publicity
Despite her candid revelation, the 23-year-old actress fiercely guards her personal life. Rumours linking her to Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, have circulated for years, but Palak dismisses public speculation.
“At this career stage, I don’t want my romantic life reduced to headlines,” she told Filmfare. “If I’m in a relationship, I feel strongly about it. I wouldn’t want people commenting on it.”
Career Focus: From Debut to Horror-Comedy
Palak, who debuted in Salman Khan’s 2023 film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, is carving her niche beyond her famous lineage. She initially gained attention through music videos like ‘Bijlee Bijlee’ and is now preparing for ‘The Bhootnii’, set to release on May 1, 2025. The film, co-starring Sunny Singh and Sanjay Dutt, marks her first lead role in a genre-bending project.
