Renowned Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has established himself as one of the most versatile and successful actors. Throughout his illustrious career spanning over four decades, he has worked opposite several leading actresses of the industry including Rekha, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai, Juhi Chawla, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Raveena Tandon and many more. He has also starred opposite several younger actresses including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ameesha Patel, to name a few. While the audience loved the on-screen pairings, recently, an actress revealed that she 'wanted to cry' after she was made to kiss Anil Kapoor, without warning. The actress is none other than Anjana Sukhani, who romanced the Mr India star in Salam-E-Ishq.
Anjana Was 'Made To Kiss' Anil Kapoor in Salam-E-Ishq!
Notably, in 2007's multistarrer flick Salam-E-Ishq, Juhi Chawla played the wife's role of Anil Kapoor's character. However, Kapoor was attracted to Anjali (Anjana) and fell in love with her. The duo had a kissing scene while dancing at a pub.

Sharing an unexpected on-set experience involving the kissing scene with Kapoor. During a recent interview, Anjana labelled director Nikkhil Advani as 'mean' and 'harsh'. She also accused him of not informing her about the kissing scene in advance.
Anjana revealed that she was caught off guard by the sudden demand of kissing Anil Kapoor. As the actress revealed, she had no time to prepare mentally for the kissing scene. Further, as a newcomer in the industry, she sensed an unspoken assumption that she wouldn't refuse.
Actress Felt Powerless!
The actress revealed that she felt powerless to object to the demand made by Advani and reluctantly agreed to go ahead with it.
However, this left her broken and she wanted to cry.
During the interview with Bollywood Hungama, Anjana shared about her struggles being a newcomer and how beginners are often taken for granted because people assume that they won't fight.
'I was not told about the kiss...'
She was quoted as saying, “I was not told about the kiss, right till the end, until we were walking on the set to do the scene, I was not told. This wouldn’t happen with a star kid, right?"
When asked why she didn't inquire about the kissing scene's absence in the script, Anjana said, "I don’t think I was in a position to. I was nervous, overwhelmed, I didn’t even have anybody around me to even have a chat about it with anyone. I was just told that this is what you have to do."
Furthermore, she added, "I understand as an actor, yes, of course, if a script demands, you have to be open about… if a scene is demanding that there will be a kiss, it’s fair enough. I am saying, at least inform. Mentally, I need to be prepared in my head. At the end of the day, this is still some kind of intimacy and I think that was… I think I have carried that for a very long time."

Moreover, Anjana added that she 'wanted to cry'.
"Even if I knew half an hour, one hour before that ‘this is what we are setting up to do, so just be prepared’. If you don’t know and it comes as a shock to you, then you are like… okay. ‘I don’t know how to handle this," she added.
