Prabhas is entering a new realm of horror fantasy with 'The Raja Saab'. Fans are already excited for Prabhas' comeback to the rom-com genre after a series of action movies. Moreover, the reports of Darling's dual role, his faceoff with Sanjay Dutt and the inclusion of Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar in key roles have already kept fans on their toes.
While fans are excited to know more about the movie, recently, the makers claimed that the movie features the biggest horror fantasy set in the country.
More About Haunted Haveli
Notably, the movie features a Haveli that is unlike anything seen before in Indian cinema. The grand set spans over 41,256 sq ft, making it officially the largest horror set ever constructed in India.
The set is designed by acclaimed art director Rajeevan Nambiar and it isn't built only for the backdrop; it is an immersive space that is integral to the story.
The Haveli features towering doors, shadowy corridors and rooms filled with secrets. The layers will unfold as the plot progresses.
The art director revealed, "Every detail had to serve the emotion, not just the aesthetics. We wanted the set to feel haunted, not just look haunted. The aim was to create something that draws you in the moment you enter, whether you’re a viewer or walking through it."
Interestingly, the Haveli will be opened to the media from June 16 following the teaser release.
Reportedly, Maruthi, known for his distinctive touch in the horror-fantasy genre, has, combined scale and emotion to create an immersive cinematic experience. To enhance the horror, every aspect of the Haveli, including stones, props, and shades, has been custom-made. Moreover, the floor has an eerie texture to add to the visuals. The Haveli isn't just a set designed for shooting; it’s storytelling through space.
