‘The Journey Begins’: KGF Rocky Bhai Yash kick starts ‘Toxic’ shooting, shares first photo

The wait is over as Kannada heartthrob Yash, KGF's Rocky Bhai, has finally begun shooting for his highly anticipated movie 'Toxic'. The film marks the first outing of Yash since his last blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel.

After much speculations and fan theories, Yash finally confirmed that Toxic has gone on floors on Thursday morning. He shared a picture to reveal his dashing look for the movie. Going by the picture, Yash will once again be seen sporting long beard for the movie. However, he has cut down his stylish signature long hairstyle and will be seen in short hair.

His look had earlier gone viral after he attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding affair. The handsome hunk has opted for a short hairdo along with long beard. Sharing a picture of himself in a white shirt and denim jeans, Yash wrote, “The Journey begins #Toxic.”

The announcement has spread joy among his fans who are eagerly waiting to see him on the big screen, especially after the stupendous success of KGF series. Although, nothing much is known about the movie, reports claim that Yash will be seen as a suave underworld leader.

However, his character will deviate significantly from his Rocky Bhai character in the KGF series. Describing his character as an underworld don, the narrative adopts a modern and global approach. If reports are to be believed, his character is drawn inspiration from the iconic international series ‘Peaky Blinders’.

The film’s essence will explore a sophisticated conflict, intriguingly different from the traditional underworld genre. Apart from Yash, Kabir Singh and Shershaah fame actress Kiara Advani and Tamil lady superstar Nayanthara will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

The film is slated to hit theatres on April 10, 2025, and expectations of fans are very high.
