After a long wait, fans finally got to see a glimpse of The Family Man 2 as Raj and DK unveiled the action drama’s trailer. The tremendous reaction that the season two is getting even before its release has now nudged the makers to already start working on season 3.
As per the latest buzz, directors, Raj and DK have already locked the basic storyline for season 3 and will be taking forwards the franchise ahead. The story will continue Srikant Tiwari aka Manoj Bajpayee’s story set in the fascinating world of Family Man. “Amazon Prime has renewed the Raj and DK series for a third season. The top executives have seen the content and are happy with the way season 2 has shaped up. Given the cliffhangers and the growing fanbase of the franchise, the makers are definitely in the process of announcing a season 3 soon,” revealed Pinkvilla.
Manoj Bajpayee had earlier revealed that the script of season 2 was already finalised by the time season 1 started streaming. He said, "if your season 2 is ready without any impact and effect of the first one and it is away from the influence of the first one, then maybe you stay true to the story or not try to alter or change anything or try to impress anyone because you've done the same in the first season.” Seems like the makers are again trying to stick to the creative plan they followed during the making of season 2.

Notably, amidst all the reports, it is still unknown whether the new antagonist Raji aka Samantha Akkineni will be joining season three as well or if her track is limited to the latest sequel. While the audience is guessing that the series will end on a cliffhanger just like season one ended, it might turn out to be a shocker for some Samantha fans if she gets defeated in season 2 itself and gets killed as Moosa did in the 2019 version.
The Family Man 2 will stream on Amazon Prime on June 4, 2021.
