Teja Sajja’s much-anticipated fantasy adventure Mirai has taken the box office by storm. Mirai Achieves New Benchmark
Reportedly, within just five days of release, Mirai has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club globally- a feat that only a few mid-budget Telugu films have managed. Trade trackers confirm that the film’s overseas collections, particularly from North America, coupled with consistent weekday earnings in India, played a crucial role in achieving this benchmark so quickly.
On Wednesday, the makers of Mirai have officially announced that the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore worldwide gross mark in just six days. They celebrated the milestone by releasing a special poster.
Sharing the poster, Teja wrote, "Arrived here again. This is possible only because of all of you Grateful #Mirai" (sic)

While domestic trade trackers report that the film has collected around Rs 56-57 crore net in India over the same period, the producers credit overseas earnings, especially from markets like North America, for pushing the global total into the three-digit zone. Earlier, the makers officially declared that Mirai's worldwide gross collection in four days was Rs 91.45 crore.
What Makes Mirai Click?
Analysts credit the film’s success to its striking visual effects, mythological undertones, and Teja Sajja’s growing star power. The makers also crafted an effective pan-India release strategy, ensuring Mirai found audiences beyond the Telugu states. The combination of spectacle and sentiment has helped the film resonate with diverse demographics.

Mirai vs HanuMan
The milestone also invites comparison with Sajja’s earlier blockbuster HanuMan, with Prashant Varma. While Mirai stormed past Rs 100 crore worldwide in just five days, HanuMan had crossed the mark in the same time frame.
