Popular Ollywood actress Archita Sahu has recently been declared as the brand ambassador of Tarang. Managing Director, Odisha Television Limited, Jagi Mangat Panda made an announcement in this regard at a programme ‘Gho Gha Raja’ at Grand Bazar, Nakhara in Cuttack to mark the Raja festivity.
According to sources, Tarang was inaugurated in 2008. Coincidentally, Archita also made her debut in Odia film industry in the same year. Tarang and Archita have grown together and become popular among audience. Archita has emerged as one of the most favourite stars of the State over the years, with a huge fan base across sectors and age groups. Being a reigning style icon of the State, her established presence has the potential to pull Odia audience across the nation towards Tarang in more numbers.
Addressing media, Jagi said “On the occasion of the auspicious day of Raja, we announce Archita as Tarang’s brand ambassador. Archita started her career in 2008. Tarang also was launched in 2008. So we can say Tarang and Archita have grown together. And I expect that partnership between Tarang and Archita as its brand ambassador will take Tarang to greater heights in future.”
Speaking about the association, Ranjan Satpathy, Creative Head of Odisha Television Limited, said “Since the launching of Tarang, Archita has indirectly been associated with Tarang through films and different events. Now, she has become part of Tarang. With Archita, Tarang will come up with many programmes to spread its campaign Ranga Odia Dhanga Odia to reach out to more people.”

Undoubtedly, it’s a channel which comes up with varieties of shows for the entertainment of audience.
