Bhavya Gandhi rose to fame as Tappu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. For almost a decade he played this character and became one of the most famous young actors in India. However, four years ago, Bhavya decided to leave the show to pursue brighter options like a career in Gujarati movies and television serials that offered better roles.
He acted in a few serials and also did three Gujarati movies in these last few years. Earlier, there were rumours that he was approached to feature in Bigg Boss 15. Spilling the beans on the same, recently, Bhavya Gandhi said that currently he is not interested in reality shows like Bigg Boss. However, Bhavya has indirectly said that he is looking forward to participating in the next season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
During a recent interview, the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame actor said that he wants to take part in an adventure show and for that, he is currently undergoing bodyweight training and pushups. According to Bhavya, the training makes him feel different and very good and has also helped him lose weight.

Throwing light on why he left TMKOC, the actor said that he wants to be known for other works as well and not only as Tappu. Bhavya said that while the character of Tappu received lots of love from children and women, he wants to go beyond this image and is interested in carving a different and better image for himself among his fans.
Bhavya is interested in extending his boundaries as a creative artist and hopefully, by building a body and participating in adventure shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi, he will be able to shake off the image of the cute, next-door boy Tappu.
Even though Bhavya is not a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, he shares a good bond with most of the actors on the show like Dilip Joshi, Disha Vakani and more because he grew up as a child into his teenage on TMKOC.
