Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Jethalal’s Office a Set or Real Shop?

One of the major portions of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is regularly shot in Jethalal Gada’s office or electronics shop. While many believe it to be a part of the set in Film City, the truth is that there is indeed a shop called Gada Electronics where the shooting of TMKOC’s important portions is shot regularly.

According to reports, the team has been shooting at this place for more than 12 years.  The electronics shop is situated in the Khar area of Mumbai and the makers have been using it regularly for shooting the related portions in this shop on rent. Garima Goel, who has also acted in a few episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently visited this shop.

The shop owner Shekhar Gadiyar told her that 12 years ago the makers asked him whether they can shoot for a day. And since then they have been shooting at this shop. However, the godown of Gada Electronics is a set located in Mumbai’s Film City.

He suggests that now that the culprits have been nabbed, they can relax for a few days in this resort and both Popatlal and Babuji give a nod to this suggestion. Incidentally, everyone from the Gokuldham society gets elated when they come to know about the Kala Kauwa mission and its success and they become eager to meet Popatlal and Jethalal.

And in the upcoming episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, all the members of the Gokuldham society will join Babuji, Jethalal, Bagha, Bharati, and Popatlal at the Rang Tarang resort.
