In the last few days, reports of Taapsee Pannu marrying her long-time boyfriend Mathias Boe have been making the rounds. A few sources have even reported that the couple will have a Sikh-Christian wedding in March in Udaipur. The news source also said that the wedding ceremony will be very private and no Bollywood A-lister will be invited.
However, this news was never confirmed by the Dunki actress and hence there was always doubt whether it was just a rumour or real.
When Taapsee Pannu was asked to confirm this news, the actress refused to give any explanation and said that the news had not come from her side.
According to India Today, the Thappad actress said, “I have never given any clarification regarding my personal life and I never will.” Now, that neither confirms nor negates the rumours about her possible marriage.
Taapsee Pannu has been dating the coach of the Indian badminton team for almost a decade now and has never tried to hide it. Recently during media interaction, Taapsee said that she met Mathias when she was making her movie debut in 2013 with Chashme Baddoor. The actress said, “I have been with the same person since then and I have no thoughts of leaving him or being with anyone else because I am way too happy in the relationship.”
On the work front, it was a dream come true for Taapsee Pannu when she was paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The movie was a worldwide hit and Taapsee’s work in the film was very much liked. Next, she will be seen in Woh Ladki Hai Kahan, a comedy-drama helmed by Arshad Syed that also features Pratik Gandhi and Prateik Babbar in important roles. She is also working on the sequel of Haseen Dillruba which is titled Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba in which she will share the screen with Sunny Kaushal, Jimmy Shergill, and Vikrant Massey.
