Superstar Salman Khan reuniting with ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ director Sooraj Barjatya for a family entertainer has been making headlines for a long time now.
Earlier, there were reports that Salman would collaborate with Sooraj for ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’. However, the movie was later shelved, leaving Bhaijaan fans disappointed. Now, in what comes as good news for all fans is that Salman and Sooraj have finally locked the script of their upcoming movie together.
“Sooraj is not making anything titled Prem Ki Shaadi. It is a totally different script. He is coming together again with Salman,” News18 reported adding “Salman and Sooraj have been looking for a script that would bring them together again after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. They’ve finally cracked an idea that they both like. Nahin toh pehle yeh tha k eek ko pasand toh doosre ko nahin.”
The insider further claimed that Salman and Sooraj’s upcoming movie will be unlike anything they have done earlier. The shoot of the film is likely to begin in 2025 and the makers are yet to finalise the title of the movie.
Salman and Sooraj’s collaboration is considered to be iconic. They have worked together in Salman Khan’s debut movie ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ and since then given several blockbusters like ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.
Sooraj Barjatya is also known for directing ‘Vivah’ starring the handsome Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao.
