Prasanth Varma and Ranveer Singh who earlier were supposed to unite for Rakshas have now parted ways. Reports are abuzz that the Bajirao Mastani actor has walked out of the project owing to creative differences. After HanuMan, Prasanth Varma has become very popular among Bollywood superstars who now want to work with young directors delivering the goods. Similar to Sandeep Reddy Vanga who became a hot property after directing Arjun Reddy in Telugu and launched himself in Bollywood with Kabir Singh successfully, Prasanth too is eager to establish his worth in Bollywood.
And that is the reason he had signed Ranveer Singh for his next and not any regional movie star. However, now that the actor has walked out of Rakshas, rumours are adrift that Prasanth is interested in collaborating with Sunny Deol for an entirely different movie. The director has been very much impressed with the strong performance of Sunny Deol in Gadar 2 and is very keen on working with the veteran superstar who has bounced back in Bollywood.
The Deccan Chronicle recently shared, “Sunny Deol is basking in the success of ‘Gadar 2’ and is known for his macho roles. Prashanth Varma has plans to meet him and narrate a larger-than-life story since he has a lot of stories in his hand.” Earlier the director was planning to complete his movie with Ranveer Singh first and then collaborate with the Gadar actor. But now that the 83 actor is not doing his film anymore Prasanth is eager to kick start his project with Sunny Deol .
The source says that even Sunny is very keen to work with Prasanth after his HanuMan became such a big hit. Hopefully, even though Ranveer-Prasanth could not take off, the aspiration of the Southern director to work with a Bollywood biggie will soon come true.
