Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's horror-comedy Stree 2 has emerged as the biggest blockbuster of the actors' career. Breaking the box office records of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, Stree 2 has become the highest-grossing Hindi film. The Amar Kaushik-helmed film has scripted history after surpassing Jawan and is now eyeing to enter the Rs 600 crore club. If it earns over Rs 640 crore, Stree 2 will be able to overtake the total collection of Jawan. Well, the excitement level among fans has elevated after the makers confirmed Stree 3. However, Rajkummar Rao's wife Patralekhaa has said no to being a part of the third instalment of the comedy-horror flick.
In a recent interview with Filmygyan, Patralekhaa was asked if she would give a nod to the offer of working in Stree 3. To this, she replied, "No, Shraddha hai. Unki jodi bahut mast hai. Abhishek hai, Apar hai, Pankaj, wo world set hai (No, Shraddha is there; Their pairing is amazing. Abhishek is there, Aparshakti is there, Pankaj, that world is set)."
Undeniably, Stree 2, the sequel to the 2018 film Stree, continues with the story that the first part in the town of Chanderi ended with. Apart from Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi reprised their characters in the movie. Moreover, Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan's Bhediya cameo elevated the excitement among fans and Tamannaah Bhatia's dance number was icing on the cake.
Moviegoers speculate a crossover of supernatural comedy-horror films of Maddock Supernatural Universe (MSU), including Stree, Bhediya and Munjya soon.
On the work front, Patralekhaa was last seen in the limited series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. The actress received acclaim for her performance as air hostess Indrani.
