Years ago when Shah Rukh Khan appeared on Kapil’s Show to promote his movie Dillagi he cracked a few jokes that now have gone viral. He was accompanied by Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan on the show who were also part of the Rohit Shetty-directorial.
While discussing how he manages to romance actresses who are taller than him on the screen, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Jab lambi heroines’ ke saath kam karo toh khade hoke mat karo. Late ke karo sare ke sare scenes.” He even demonstrated how it can be done by putting his head on the lap of Varun Dhawan sitting next to him and saying his famous dialogue.

Then SRK said, “Late Late ke karo height ka difference nahi malum hoga.” While everyone in the audience started laughing including Kapil Sharma Kriti Sanon quipped in, “Yeh aapne Rohit Sir ko kyun nahi bataya?” In reply, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Tu mere opposite thodi thi. Mere saath aaa late late ke..Sorry, Daddy.”
The last words he said because at that time Kriti Sanon’s father was also in the audience. This clip has now gone viral after the Ranveer Allahbadia incident. Now netizens have said, “He isn’t even slick, and it's just creepy.” A web user said that if Varun Dhawan had said the same thing he would have got slammed.
Now many web users have called out both Kapil Sharma and SRK for cracking such cheap jokes.
