Putting all speculations to rest, Shershaah stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani got married at a lavish private ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer on February 7. Social media platforms are now filled with adorable pictures from the destination wedding and fans are in awe.
Recently, the couple flew to New Delhi, hometown of Sidharth where they were welcomed with dhols at his home.
However, the ‘bidaai’ ceremony was very emotional as Kiara and her family members were inconsolable, reports say. Sidharth, the lover boy as he is known, won hearts with his consoling talent.
According to reports, the wedding was a fun-filled affair with lots of music and dances. However, Kiara’s mom and brother Mishaal began crying inconsolably as the ‘Bidaai’ ceremony neared. Seeing them, Kiara also could not hold her tears.
That’s when the Ek Villain actor showed his romantic and emotional side and managed to console his mother-in-law and brother-in-law.
A source told Bollywood Life, “Sidharth Malhotra was reassuring them not like a damaad but a ghar ka bada beta.”
It was only after his consoling that Kiara’s family gathered themselves up and got on with the bidaai rituals, the source added. This apart, he was also seen personally taking care and paying attention to all the arrangements like a perfect host.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Production has signed a three-film deal with the newly-wed couple as soon as they get back to work. The films will be similar to the Dulhania series of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
