Sharvari dedicates heartfelt Guru Purnima message to John Abraham

John Abraham and Sharvari's film ‘Vedaa’ is nearing its release date. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film will hit theatres on Independence Day (August 15, 2024). 

According to a statement, the film "promises a jaw-dropping story filled with heart-pounding stunts and high-octane action."

On the occasion of Guru Purnima today, Sharvari, who plays Vedaa, shared a heartfelt message for her guru John Abraham, known as Abhimanyu Sir in the film. She posted a picture of herself in bloody clothes while John offers her a glass of water. 

In her caption, written in Hindi, Sharvari expressed, "Abhimanyu Sir, you are the only person in this world who has never made me feel different. You are my Guru who supported me, taught me to fight, and made me a fighter by teaching me the rules and regulations of the world, right and wrong. Do not tolerate others, but show the way to fight against others. You teach me, and teach Vedas like I do! Today, on the day of Guru Purnima, I have promised myself that I will fight and win this war against others till the end. Your student, Vedaa."

Director Nikkhil Advani stated, "Vedaa is not just a film. It's inspired by real events and is a reflection of our society, pushing the boundaries of reality.” 

‘Vedaa’ marks a reunion between Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham after their earlier collaborations on ‘Batla House’ and ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’. 

The film is written by Aseem Arora and also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee in important roles. It is produced by John, Monisha Advani, and Madhu Bhojwani under their Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment banners.
