Vastavikta Pandit, the daughter of the legendary late actor Raaj Kumar, once aspired to follow in her father’s footsteps and make a name for herself in Bollywood. She met Shahid in his early days when both were students at Shiamak Davar’s dance academy. It was during this time that she reportedly developed feelings for him.
Over time, those feelings intensified into an unhealthy obsession, and she began stalking him. According to reports, she would follow him to film sets, sit on the bonnet of his car shouting that she was his biggest fan, and even trespass onto his private property. In the most disturbing incident, she allegedly entered his home without permission and told people in the vicinity that she was his wife.
By 2012, matters had escalated to the point where Shahid filed an FIR against her. Following the FIR, Vastavikta retreated from Shahid’s life.
Notably, earlier in 1996, Vastavikta Pandit had made her Bollywood debut but failed to leave a mark on the industry. Despite her legendary lineage, her acting career never took off, and she eventually faded from the limelight.
