The biggest movie star in the world, Shah Rukh Khan has become the only Indian to be honoured with the prestigious Pardo Alla Carriera Award. The global star was presented with the prestigious award at the 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland in recognition of his significant contributions to Indian cinema.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently in Locarno, Switzerland, the very place that holds a special place in the hearts of all Indians and tourists for the location where DDLJ was shot. The King very graciously accepted the award with all humility and thanked all his fans for the tremendous amount of love he is getting.
“I cannot even pronounce the name of the award properly. This award is for being the most awesome in the world and the history of mankind,” King Khan humorously stated after getting the award.
“I accept this award with all humility, kindness, and goodness. And with a promise that awards like this will encourage me to keep on trying to give that one more take, one more shot and one more emotion and hopefully a little more of love that all of you feel,” King Khan added.
Shah Rukh made an impressive comeback in 2023 and gave two back-to-back Rs 1000 crore blockbusters with Jawan and Pathaan. His last movie Dunki, directed by 3 Idiots fame director Rajkumar Hirani was also a massive hit.
He is reportedly set to appear in a film titled ‘King’ along with his daughter Suhana Khan.
