Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is fondly dubbed as 'Bhai' and 'Bhaijaan' by his fans, admirers and friends from the industry. What would the Gen Z actors call him? Of course, the younger generation would refer to him as 'Sir' respectfully. However, Gen Z actress Sara Ali Khan stunned Salman by calling him 'Bhai' and the video of the same has taken the internet by storm.
Recently, a video of Salman and Sara from IIFA Award Nights surfaced on social media in which the superstar is seen on the stage as the host. However, when Sallu proceeds with the show, a female voice interrupts him by calling him out 'Salman Sir.'
Well, it was Sara who continued to call out Salman while walking from the backstage. As the crowd cheers loudly, Salman says (jokingly), "Sara audience aana chah raha hai stage par."
This is when Sara approaches from behind and puts her hand in his arms. Salman reacts surprisingly and looks behind.
However, Sara calls the Sikandar actor 'Salman Bhai.'
Salman introduces Sara to the audience after moving a few steps back. The duo greet each other and Sara continues, "Salman Bhai, mujhe..."
But, Salman interrupts her and says, "Salman Bhai nahi, Salman Uncle hoga. Agar bhai bulana hai toh uncle bulao. Kyunki mein apke father aur mother donon ka dost hoon."
In between, Sara intervenes and says, "Bhai, bade bhai, biggest bhai."
Reacting to this, Salman says, "Bade bhai, toh ab kya tau bulaogi!"
This funny conversation between the duo makes the audience laugh unstoppably.
Further, Sara requests Salman to do a favour in Bodyguard style.
"Aapse se ek ehsan chahiye. Mujhpe ek ehsan karna, ki mujhpe please ek ehsan karna," says Sara.
Next, Sara says that she will be launching her brand at the show in front of the audience.
Sara says, "Yahin, yahin pe, Salman uncle ke saath."
Well, reacting to this, the Bodyguard actor says, "Aapki picture gayi."
"Meri picture kyun gayi!" says Sara surprisingly.
Salman continues, "Mein apko picture mein lene wala tha. Aab obviously mere saath aati toh heroine aati. Aab sabke samne apne mujhe uncle bulaya mujhe bhai bulaya."
Sara reacts to this by saying, "Aapne toh kaha..."
Salman interrupts her and said, "Agar bhai bula rahi ho toh behen ka role hai, uncle bula rahi ho toh niece ka role hai. Jo ki hala ki choti si role hai."
Sara confidently says, "Salman boss," and to this the Ready actor says, "Picture confirmed."
Of course, it was a part of the act and the duo certainly entertained everyone with it.
Next, Sara continued her act by launching some of her 'brand products.' Interestingly, for every product a modified version of Salman's song played in the background.
The 'products' included a pain balm, washing detergent and a mattress.
While the origin of the video couldn't be traced, it is shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Salman Khan fans club. The video has amassed massive views and likes.
Notably, Salman has worked with Sara's father Saif Ali Khan in the 1999 film Hum Saath-Saath Hain and with her mother Amrita Singh in 1992's Suryavanshi.
