Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan's personal life has always been under discussion. A couple of days weeks back, Salman's ex-girlfriend Somy Ali had made shocking revelations about the Ek Tha Tiger actor and disclosed the reason for breaking up with him. Now, the Kick actor's previous ex, Sangeeta Bijlani has made some shocking revelations and divulged the real reason behind their breakup.
Recently, Sangeeta graced the music reality show, Indian Idol, where a contestant asked her, "Aapka jo career hai, usme aisa kaunsa decision hai, jo sap change karna chahengi (In your career, which decision do you want change)."
To this, Sangeeta said, "Jo they na..."

The former actress mimicked gestures of Salman Khan and continued, "Adi... Humare ex..."
Host Aditya Narayan instantly understood about who the former actress was talking about.
Meanwhile, music composer Vishal Dadlani, said, "Abhi kiski baat chal rahi hai (Who are we talking about)?"
Sangeeta continued, "Mein nahi kahungi, magar... toh...I was very constricted, matlab woh jo kapde, yeh nahi pehenna, itne short nahi pehenna, itna short nahi hona chahiye, itna long hona chahiye...woh gale mein...I couldn't wear this kind of a dress. Initially I did, but then...I was not allowed to. I was a little shy then."
"Abhi mein waisi nahi hoon. Abhi mein puri ki puri gundi hoon. I am like, am not afraid anymore. I was very reserve then. Yes...So, I would like to change that very part of me. I don't want to change it, I am already who I am now," she added.
Though Sangeeta didn't take Salman's name, everyone on the show understood. Well, such a response from the former actress was applauded by the judges, host and contestants.
Notably, as per media reports, Sangeeta Bijlani and Salman Khan had reportedly made plans to tie the knot and wedding cards were printed before the ceremony. However, their relationship hit a roadblock, and the wedding was ultimately called off.
Responding to another query made by another contestant, she shed light on the rumour and clarified, "Jhoot toh nahi tha (It wasn’t a lie)."
For the unversed, Salman and Sangeeta met during the shooting of a TV advertisement. The duo quickly became one of Bollywood’s most adored couples. Their romance lasted nearly a decade and was one of the longest relationships of Salman.

Following their breakup, Sangeeta moved on and married cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in 1996. The couple, however, finalised their divorce in 2019 after over two decades of marriage.
