Samantha Ruth Prabhu has surprised everyone with her bold look in a new ad for a famous beverage. The actress can be seen as a bold bride and slowly turns into a Bond girl. She can be seen portraying a strong woman who defies all the rules of society that limits a girl’s intentions to live on her own terms.
Not surprisingly, the dynamic avatar of Sam in this commercial has impressed many social media users who have even said that it is much better than the flamboyant ad done by Ranveer Singh for the same beverage product.
Interestingly, a few things that are covered in the commercial about pulling the girls down seems to be more relevant to what is happening with the Tollywood superstar currently.
Her last mega-release Shakuntalam was a big flop and the producers had to suffer a huge loss. It was expected to be one of the biggest hits of Samantha’s career and it was her first effort at doing a mythological movie. She was badly mocked by producer Chitti Babu who declared that the career of Samantha is over now and that she has lost her glamour and stardom.
According to him, Oh! Baby actress was not the right choice for playing the character of Shakuntala as in the story she was a very young girl whereas Samantha looks older. The Tollywood beauty also in her own way took a jibe at Chitti Babu and the controversy has attracted a lot of attention.
Samantha was also slammed for her accent abroad during the promotions of her upcoming movie Citadel with Varun Dhawan. She has been fighting health issues for the last few months but has made sure that she completes all her work commitments on time.
Samantha is indeed currently going through a tough time in both her career and health wise but this commercial seems to be the answer to what the actress has planned and no sooner will she bounce back with a great performance similar to Raji in The Family Man Season 2.
