"Pushpa: The Rise" starring Icon/Stylish Star Allu Arjun and National Crush Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, is one among the much-anticipated movies of the year. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on December 17. While fans are counting days to explore more about Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) and his chemistry with Rasho, many others are excited to witness the new look of their matinee idol and the story plot which revolves around the red sanders smuggling in the hills of Andhra Pradesh.
While recent reports suggest that the Pushpa team is done with a major part of the shooting, on Monday, the team broke the suspense and made a big announcement which has elated many.
As scheduled earlier, the makers have made the big announcement of roping in Samantha for a sizzling number in the movie. The makers made the official announcement on their verified Twitter handle.
"The supremely talented @Samanthaprabhu2 is going to groove for a sizzling number in #PushpaTheRise #PushpaTheRiseOnDec17, the caption read.
The post included a picture of Sam with a graceful message for the Majili actress.
The message read: "Pushpa's 5th song is special, and needed someone special! We reached out to our very special Samantha Faru and she gleefully agreed to come on board owing to the rapport we've developed over time. We're super excited to announce that Samantha garu is going to light up the screens with Icon Star Allu Arjun in the fifth single! This would be the first special song appearance of her career and we are leaving no stone unturned to make it truly special and memorable."
Earlier, speculations were rife that the makers have finalised Sam for the item song but there was no official confirmation regarding the same. The craze for the U-Turn actor has levelled up across the country following the release of The Family Man: Season 2 in which she nailed the character of Sri Lankan Tamil suicide bomber named Raji. Sam got flooded with appreciation and accolades for her character. Meanwhile, the announcement of her entry in Pushpa will certainly increase the anticipation for the movie.
