Pushpa: The Rise: Samantha Confirmed For Allu Arjun, Rashmika's Magnum Opus

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been roped in by the makers to perform an item song in Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun-led flick Pushpa: The Rise. There have been reports that most of the shooting of the movie has been completed and that only an item song is needed to be canned. Samantha will be shaking a leg with Bunny who created a storm with his Butta Bomma song along with Pooja Hegde.

The team of Pushpa confirmed with a tweet that the supremely talented Sam will be grooving on a sizzling number with Allu Arjun in Pushpa 1. The tweet said that for this 5th song of the movie they approached their very special Samantha Garu and she agreed gleefully. Incidentally, it is the first item number ever performed by Samantha for any movie which makes it all the more special.

According to earlier speculations the makers were considering the names of Pooja Hegde, Samantha, and Nora Fatehi for the item song. But now the name of the Bigil actress has been finalized. The actress is known for her electrifying and raunchy moves and when she will match her steps with Allu Arjun it is expected to churn out another hit for the Tollywood superstar.

Apart from Rashmika and Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil will play the lead antagonist. Sandalwood actor Dhananjaya has also been roped in to play a crucial role in this flick. The movie is being shot in Telugu but will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Both for Rashoo and Allu Arjun, Pushpa: The Rise’s success can be quite crucial.

While Bunny is eyeing pan India stardom with this movie, for Rashmika it will be her first release in Hindi. She has already wrapped up shooting for her Bollywood debut movie Mission Majnu which will release next year.
