Notably, Samantha Ruth Prabhu met Naga Chaitanya on the sets of Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010 and became close friends. They started dating in 2015 and eventually got married in 2017. During their time together, Sam had gotten three tattoos symbolising her relationship with Chay, including a tattoo 'YMC' inked on her upper back as a tribute to their first film.
In a recent Instagram video, Sam is seen in a burgundy backless dress writing 'Nothing to Hide' on a glass screen. However, what caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans was the missing 'YMC' tattoo.
Fans quickly flooded the comments section with speculations.
One user wrote, "For a moment I thought it was about something else." (sic)
Another user wrote, "Samantha got her YMC tattoo removed." (sic)
Meanwhile, another user opined that the actress covered the tattoo with foundation for an ad.
However, the actress hasn't clarified it.
