Samantha breaks down during 'Shaakuntalam' trailer launch, leaves internet in tears

"We are with you, Sam," "Be strong, Queen," "We love you, Sam"... And more such comments filled the internet on Monday after Samantha Ruth Prabhu broke down during trailer launch of Shaakuntalam'.

Samantha attended the trailer launch event today in Hyderabad. It was Sam's first big event after her Myositis diagnosis in October last year.

Samantha couldn't hold her tears when filmmaker Gunasekhar spoke about the film's journey at the event.

He revealed that they had been working on this project for more than two years and thanked Samantha for joining the trailer launch event despite her health condition.

This made Samantha emotional who then literally cried on the stage. Videos from the event are now going viral on social media.

In the video, Samantha looks elegant in a white saree but seeing her in tears and wiping them off left fans emotional too.

One user tweeted, "We're with you Sam, be strong."

Similarly another Twitter user wrote, "Dear @Samanthaprabhu2, Many Heroines In Indian Film Industry May Come & Go, But You Are Always One For Me, I Love You Forever & Ever @Samanthaprabhu2 Forever."
