Following a spate of death threats and a shocking firing incident outside his Bandra residence, Salman Khan was seen greeting his fans from behind a newly installed bulletproof glass on his balcony. While the Sikandar star’s appearance was met with loud cheers, the extra layer of security did not go unnoticed.
In a candid conversation with ETimes, Salman explained the move wasn’t entirely due to the recent threats. “It is not because of any other reason, but we had to do something about the security because sometimes we would find some fan sleeping on the balcony. They used to climb up and sleep on the balcony, so we had to cover that place,” the actor shared.
On the Work Front: Battle of Galwan
Despite the heightened security, Salman continues to focus on his upcoming project, Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film portrays the 2020 Galwan Valley clash where Indian soldiers displayed extraordinary bravery against Chinese troops. At 59, the actor admitted the physically demanding training for action sequences has been challenging but rewarding. Produced under Salman Khan Films, the movie promises to bring a gripping retelling of India’s resilience without a single bullet being fired.
