Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again found himself at the center of a serious security scare after receiving a fresh death threat.
According to Mumbai Police, a threat message was received via WhatsApp to the official number of the Worli Transport Department, warning of a plot to kill the actor at his residence and blow his vehicle using bomb.
The threatening message has triggered a swift response from law enforcement. A case has been officially registered at the Worli Police Station under relevant sections, and further investigation is currently underway to trace the origin of the threat and identify those involved, informed officials.
DCP Zone 3, Datta Kamble, confirmed the development, stating, “A threat message was received for Salman Khan on the Worli Transport Department's WhatsApp number yesterday. A case has been registered in this regard and the investigation is ongoing.”
Threats to Salman Khan
This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has faced such threats. In recent years, he has been under tight security following previous warnings believed to be linked to gang-related activities.
The actor’s residence continues to remain under heavy police surveillance, and his movements are closely monitored for safety.
Mumbai Police have not yet revealed the identity of the sender or the contents of the message in detail, but sources indicate that the message contained explicit threats of violence and mentioned the use of explosives.
