Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is undeniably one of the biggest names in the industry. His star power is evident from the box office collections of Sikandar, also starring Rashmika Mandanna, despite the bad reviews from a section of audience and critics. Though the highly-awaited action-packed flick failed to live up to the hype, in just four days of its release, Sikandar has reportedly collected Rs 85.45 crore in India. The AR Murugadoss directorial is on its way to becoming Salman's 18th film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. Industry 'Silent' About Sikandar!

Recently, a viral clip of Salman Khan's interview has triggered discussions about Bollywood's 'selective support'. In the clip, Salman is seen opening up about requiring support from his colleagues for Sikandar.

During the interview with Bollywood Bubbles, the host noted that despite Salman promoting his colleagues' films, the industry has been largely silent about Sikandar.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star said that others might believe he doesn't require their support. But, everyone needs support, including himself.

Supportive Salman Khan

Salman Khan is known for his supportive nature. From promoting films of his industry peers to launching new talents and guiding newcomers, the Tiger 3 actor has often displayed his commitment to helping others.

During the interview, Salman shifted his focus to upcoming and recent releases, demonstrating his ongoing support for fellow actors. He also highlighted Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda's upcoming mass entertainer Jaat, which is scheduled for release on April 10, 2025. Moreover, he also mentioned Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's L2: Empuraan.

No Support for Salman Khan!

Though Salman supports his colleagues, it was only Sunny Deol who publicly promoted Sikandar, sharing a supportive post on social media for the film. Though Aamir Khan appeared in a promotional video with Salman and Murugadoss, the overall lack of industry's support for Salman and his movie is quite evident.
