Salman Khan Confirms Battle of Galwan
On Friday, Salman Khan announced the title of his upcoming flick and teased the first look of Battle of Galwan. Produced under SK Films, the war drama action thriller is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley Conflict.
While details about the war drama have been kept under wraps, Apoorva Lakhia will be at the helm and Himesh Reshamiya will compose the music.
Earlier Reports on Battle of Galwan
According to earlier reports, Salman Khan will play the role of an Army officer, which will be the first time for him in his career in a full-fledged film. Moreover, he will be joined by three other actors from the younger generation.
The movie is a 2-night story and will be shot in Ladakh and Mumbai, over 70 days. Reportedly, Sallu will portray Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu's character in the military saga. The film is based on a chapter about Colonel B. Santosh Babu from the book India's Most Fearless 3 (2022), who led the 16 Bihar regiment during a violent conflict with Chinese troops at Galwan Valley in 2020.
The chapter captures how Indian soldiers, though vastly outnumbered, bravely defended their territory against the well-trained Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).
