1989's romantic musical movie Maine Pyar Kiya emerged as the biggest blockbuster of the year and proved to be Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's breakthrough movie. Alongside Bhagyashree, Sallu's debut movie as a lead, Maine Pyar Kiya was well received by critics and the audience alike. However, did you know Salman Khan 'flirted' with his co-star Bhagyashree? Well, Bhagyashree thought so and said that her co-star was 'very naughty'.
Sooraj Barjatya's much-loved film clocked 35 years, recently. Fans loved the onscreen chemistry of the lead pair and the songs were chartbuster. Here we bring some interesting anecdotes about the movie shared by Bhagyashree.
Bhagyashree Thought Salman Khan Flirted with Her
During a candid interview with Kovind Gupta Films' YouTube channel, Bhagyashree recalled the shooting days and opened up that at one point she thought Salman was definitely flirting with her.

Bhagyashree said, "I was feeling lonesome because I had no family with me. We had to shoot Dil Deewana, and suddenly Salman came and sat right next to me and started singing the song into my ear. He had always been such a gentleman on set and so nice to me that I couldn’t understand. Well, it just seemed like crossing the line over flirting and I said, ‘Why is he doing this?'”
Further, she added, "He would follow me around and keep singing the song and I was like ‘What’s happening here?’ He finally took me to the side and said, ‘I know!’ I was like really? He said, ‘I know who you are in love with,'” she recalled.
When Bhagyashree asked Salman what he knew, he said Himalaya’s name.
“He said, ‘I know about Himalaya. Why don’t you call him here?’ I was like, ‘Oh my god! This can’t be happening,'” added Bhagyashree.
Salman Khan was 'Very Naughty'
In another interview with Hauterrfly Bhagyashree described Salman's playful and mischievous nature. The former actress revealed that the film was new for three of them (Salman, Bhagyashree and Sooraj). While Bhagyashree was a debutant, it was Salman's debut movie as a lead and Sooraj debuted as a director. She described the atmosphere as the first day of college.

Recalling the good old days, she said, "Sooraj ji ki nayi nayi shaadi hui thi. So more often, mein aur Salman baat karte the ki Sooraj ji ko kese chidaaye aur Vineeta bhabhi ko kaise chidaaye," she said. (Sooraj ji was newly married. So more often, Salman and I would talk about how to tease Sooraj ji and how to tease Vineeta bhabhi).
When asked about Salman Khan being called a 'naughty boy', Bhagyashree said, "He was very naughty."
