Apart from its gripping plot, the neo-noir crime thriller grabbed the headlines for its explicit sexual scenes. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, the makers are all set for Season 3 of the series based on Vikram Chandra’s novel of the same name.
While OTT users are eagerly waiting to discover if Sartaj Singh finds the pattern to defuse the bomb or not, actress Amruta Subhash who was seen in the second season as Kusum Devi Yadav with a powerful role has recently opened up about how Anurag treated her during filming intimate scenes.
Recalling her experience of shooting intimate scenes in front of the camera in Sacred Games 2, Amruta revealed, the director had a conversation with her and the direction team regarding her menstrual cycle. Anurag intended to ensure scheduling a time that she should feel comfortable while shooting the scenes.
During the interview with Netflix India, Amruta was quoted as saying, “I did my first sex scene with Anurag in Sacred Games 2. There was no question about being a man or a woman. He was extremely sensitive. He called the direction team. He was the one who asked me the question, what are your period dates, so they don’t schedule the sex scenes around that. ‘You will do it during your periods?’ He asked that.”
India's first Netflix original series, Sacred Games captivated the audience for various reasons and anticipation for Season 3 seems to be quite high.
