Earlier on August 20, Karnataka-based screenwriter and director Narthan had made an unofficial announcement about the Rocking Star's next venture in the pipeline. Narthan shared a pic along with Yash and captioned it: "In this auspicious day, We hereby notify the making of epic action-drama #yash19. Official Announcement Very Soon."
Soon after that, speculations sparked that the makers will make the official announcement after finding the lead actress to cast opposite Yash. Meanwhile, rumours also were abuzz that Malavika Mohanan, who actively works in Tamil and Malayalam films, has been finalised opposite Yash for the movie.

This movie being the Kannada star's 19th film has been tentatively titled as Yash 19. As per the buzz, the movie likely to be helmed by Narthan will be a mass entertainer. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement for the same.

While the singer is quite excited about the song release, rumours are abuzz that the makers will release it on Dushera.
