Rashmika Mandanna recently opened up about how being the first from the Coorg community to venture into movies affected things around her. The Pushpa actress said, “You know, in the Coorg community, nobody has entered the film industry. I think I am the first one in our whole community to have entered the industry.”

When asked whether people judged her, Rashmika said that they were extremely judgmental about her. About her first paycheck, the Mission Majnu actress said, “I gave it to my parents. I did not know what to do with it. And I did not even know how to deposit this because, of course, your parents are taking care of all your money, and they are giving you pocket money and everything. So you don’t know what to do with the check.”

“By then, I hadn’t even told my mum and dad that I was going and auditioning, and I was thinking about the film industry. So I was hiding that fact. I did not even know acting was something I wanted to do. But I didn’t want to miss this opportunity. So I was thinking, okay, one film and out,” Rashmika Mandanna added.
