Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in to play the female lead alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in Maddock Films’ Vampires of Vijay Nagar. After producing some big hits in the horror comedy genre like Stree and Munjya, the production house is rolling out another film in the same genre to expand its horror-comedy universe.
Interestingly, before Rashmika Mandanna , it was reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu would officially make her debut in Bollywood with Vampires of Vijay Nagar. Many leading tabloids carried this report and it had left fans of the Kushi actress excited. Now this sudden announcement of the Animal actress joining the star cast has left the fans of Samantha a bit surprised as well as concerned.
Many fans of Samantha have raised concerns regarding her health saying that maybe she decided to opt out of the movie because of her health issues. Samantha fans are eager to see her working in an action-based Bollywood movie but are unhappy now that her debut in the Hindi film industry seems to have been delayed further.
But it seems all these concerns are not true at all as Samantha recently shared her training sessions on her IG story and also a few pictures from abroad. She seems to be enjoying a good ‘me time’ abroad in Scotland and has been regularly uploading clicks from some of the picturesque locations in Scotland in her Insta feed.
Also, her recent commercial with Anil Kapoor for ICICI Bank is getting a lot of love as fans have loved Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s look in this advertisement. So there can be many reasons why the actress has opted out of Vampires of Vijay Nagar. It is also possible that those were just rumours and the movie was never offered to the Shaakuntalam actress.
Either way, fans will get to see a new pair of Ayushmann and Rashmika which can be surely a treat since Vampires of Vijay Nagar is being directed by Munjya-director Aditya Sarpotdar.
