After Parineeti Chopra opted out of Kabir Singh fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 'Animal' opposite Ranbir Kapoor, it seems national crush Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in for the role.
As per reports, Parineeti opted out of Animal for Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila following date issue. However, Pari's loss seems to have become Rashimka Mandanna's gain.
If reports are to be believed, Puspha girl Rashmika has been roped in to romance Ranbir Kapoor in Animal. However, an official confirmation on the same is still awaited.
According to Pinkvilla, a close source of the makers spoke about the development and also revealed that Rashoo will be playing Ranbir’s wife in the film.
"Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Reddy Vanga felt that Rashmika fits the bill to the T. They wanted a fresh cast, rather than repeating the pairing of RK with another actress. The duo feels that both RK and Rashmika will set the screen on fire with their chemistry in Animal. The two share an interesting dynamic in the film,” said the source to the entertainment portal.
Following the news, fans of Rashmika and Ranbir are excited to watch their favourite stars together for the first time.

Notably, the shoot of this much-awaited edge of the seat drama will begin this summer, once Ranbir wraps up the Luv Ranjan rom-com. Besides Ranbir, Animal also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in key roles.
On the work front, Rashmika will soon be making her Bollywood debut this year with "Mission Majnu" opposite Sidharth Malhotra. She also has Goodbye alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Pushpa: The Rule.
