Since their notable collaboration in the 2018 film ‘Geetha Govindam’ and the 2019 release ‘Dear Comrade,’ fans have incessantly speculated about the nature of the relationship between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna off-screen. Despite persistent rumours, the duo consistently labelled themselves as 'just friends.' However, in a recent interview with 'We Are Yuvaa', Rashmika shed light on their bond.
In the interview, Rashmika openly discussed her camaraderie with co-stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ranbir Kapoor, and Allu Arjun.
However, her revelations about Vijay Deverakonda grabbed attention. She acknowledged their shared journey, stating, “Viju and I sort of grew up together. So anything I do in my life right now, he has a contribution to it.” She emphasised the significance of Vijay's advice in her life, expressing, “I take his advice in anything I do, I need his opinion. He’s not a yes person. He’s on point. He has supported me personally more than anyone else in my entire life. So, I feel he’s someone I really, really respect.”
Contrary to ongoing speculation, Vijay Deverakonda quashed engagement rumours in a recent interview with Lifestyle Asia. Dismissing the February engagement rumours, he humorously remarked, “It feels like the press wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married.”
On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna has a slew of projects in her pipeline, including ‘Pushpa 2,’ ‘Rainbow,’ ‘The Girlfriend,’ an untitled film with Dhanush, and ‘Chaava’ in Hindi.
